We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive personal information such as health data, financial account credentials or government identity numbers through this website's forms.

3. Why we process it, and on what basis

  • To respond to your enquiry. Where you have contacted us, we process your details to reply — our legitimate interest in responding to people who approach us, and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
  • To provide services under a contract. Where you become a client, we process contact and project information to deliver the agreed services.
  • To protect our systems. We process IP addresses and user agent strings to identify and block automated abuse — our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and our forms usable.
  • To meet legal obligations. Where we are required to retain records, for example for tax or accounting purposes.

We do not use enquiry details for marketing unless you separately ask us to, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is necessary, and only with:

  • Our hosting and email providers, which process data on our instructions in order to run the website and deliver our email;
  • Professional advisers such as our accountants or lawyers, where required;
  • Public authorities, where we are legally obliged to disclose information.

We are based outside the UK, EU and US, so working with us involves an international transfer of any personal data you share with us. We take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that appropriate safeguards are in place, and we are happy to enter into standard contractual clauses or a data processing agreement where your own obligations require it.

5. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become clients: retained for up to 24 months, then deleted, so that we have context if you come back to us.
  • Client records: retained for the duration of the engagement and for as long afterwards as we are required to keep records for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
  • Technical abuse-prevention data: retained alongside the associated enquiry and deleted with it.

6. How we protect it

The website is served over an encrypted connection. Enquiry data is stored in a database that is not publicly accessible, and access to it is restricted to staff who need it for their work and protected by individual accounts. We do not store payment card details on this website.

No system is completely secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will inform you and the relevant authority as required.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

  • confirm what personal information we hold about you and provide a copy;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete information we no longer have a valid reason to keep;
  • restrict or object to how we use your information;
  • provide your information in a portable format; or
  • withdraw consent, where our processing relies on it.

Write to info@softech.team and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. Cookies

Our use of cookies is described in our Cookie Policy. In short: this site sets only the cookies needed for it to function securely, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Children

This website is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last updated.

11. Contact and complaints
