An early shift, so your morning is covered
Offshore software, web, marketing and back-office teams for businesses in Australia.
Our standard hours are published in UTC and fall entirely outside the Australian working day. Rather than paper over that, we run a dedicated earlier shift for Australian clients so your morning and early afternoon are covered live.
Working hours
Our standard 09:00–17:00 UTC day falls entirely outside Australian business hours — it is 19:00–03:00 in Sydney. For Australian clients we therefore run an earlier shift that covers your morning and early afternoon.
Why Australian businesses work with an offshore team
- ✓Australian technical and marketing salaries are high relative to the size of most domestic businesses, and the market is competitive for experienced people.
- ✓Distance from other markets means Australian businesses are already comfortable working with remote suppliers — the practices are familiar.
- ✓Much of the work we do is asynchronous by nature, so a partial overlap handled with discipline is genuinely sufficient.
The practical detail
| Working hours | A dedicated early shift for ongoing Australian engagements, covering your morning through mid-afternoon. Our standard UTC hours give no overlap at all, and we would not pretend otherwise. |
| Invoicing | We invoice in AUD. |
| Privacy | APP 8 makes you accountable for what an overseas recipient does with personal information. We sign agreements that reflect that and limit access accordingly. |
| Communication | Written updates land before your morning, so you start the day knowing where things stand. |

Questions from Australian clients
How do you handle the time difference with Australia?
Our standard 09:00–17:00 UTC hours are 19:00–03:00 in Sydney — no overlap at all. For ongoing Australian engagements we run a dedicated earlier shift covering your morning and early afternoon.
Does the Privacy Act allow offshore processing?
Yes, with appropriate contractual safeguards. Under APP 8 you remain accountable for the overseas recipient, so we contract in a way that reflects that.
Do you invoice in Australian dollars?
Yes, in AUD.
Data protection in Australia is governed by the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. We are a technology supplier, not legal or tax advisers — confirm your own obligations with your adviser.
